Reasonable tyre for a budget item. Tyres were fitted new to my car when I bought it on the rear axle, along with a set of Bridgestone RE720 on the front. I rotated the K106 to the front after 10k. The K106 iss good as the Bridgestone RE720 in the dry as far as grip goes, but would probably have less outright feel through the steering. The K106 would need more agressive steering inputs at speed to get the desired result compared to the RE720 - probably due to the more flexible sidewalls. Braking is good, with ABS only kicking in on severe 100km/h to 0 stops on smooth bitumen. Grip on damp and slippery streets is good, taking most of the car's 210lb/ft torque to break traction which is quickly regained by the traction control. Only on very wet roads does the K106 make me lose confidence. 120km/h+ on wet motorway is a scary situation, with next to no steering feel, and aquaplaining evident by the TC cutting in. Driven 15000/km so far and tyres still have 5mm tread, so are a good lasting tyre. Recommended for anyone looking a budget tyre for street and urban driving, but avoid for A-road and motorway use.
