Excellent tires! I`ve used them all year round in the UK for 3 years with occasional trips to Europe in summer (temperature above 30 C). They lasted 45000 km and they still got about 1mm to the legal limit.

I cannot say enough about these tires. I have placed about 2,400 miles on them so far and I can honestly say they are worth it. I have to push harder to activate traction control and much less over stear on black ice. Its not the same degree of confidence of All Wheel Drive I had in the Volvo Cross Country but it’s a hell of a lot closer than what I had. My car came with Continental brand tires which were never a problem until we encountered subzero temps in the Alps. But after 50,000 miles any tire might have failed under similar conditions. If you had told me that I needed to buy Snow tires for my BMW I would have simply refused under normal circumstances. After sliding on the Autobahn I was ready for anything the Munich BMW service advisor recommended when we no notice showed up at in a snow storm. Only afterwards I can attest that he hooked me up, plain and simple.

Not a bad tire, but could be better for the premium price. Good for everyday traffic, but not good enaugh for mountain snowy/icy roads, where snow chains become necessary. Other cars with better tires can deal with the same roads without chains. Even if it works, still loses grip constantly. I had better and cheaper snow/ice tires from Maxxis and Sava.

Used for 2 seasons as a winter tyre and part way into summer. Very impressed especially if coupled with a 4wd car. Grip is excellent from sheet ice right through to deep snow (coped fine up to 6")
