Comment:
A rebranded version of Vredestein Snowtrac 3 (Maloya is a Swiss company part of the same umbrella as Vredestein) and when I bought them they were about £30 a tyre cheaper than the Vredestein. Fitted them in at end of November and has been fairly mild until this week. Through that time they have performed excellently. In cooler temperatures I can certainly feel more positive traction under braking than with the standard Goodyears. Perhaps not as much dry/wet grip, in mild-warm conditions, as the tyres which were oem fit to the car, but they still work very very well in everyday driving. Short of dangerous or idiotic driving for the public road, I don't think you'd notice a difference. We have had a few steady days of snow and ice this week and they really have come into their own. My commute is generally 7am & 8.30pm so really the coldest times of the day and They've allowed me to actually use my car when 3 & 1 series of neighbouring houses have been stranded. They won't make you invincible or change the laws of physics, but they will allow you to start, stop and turn in all but the very worst winter weather. You just have to remember to still be mindful of the conditions I would absolutely buy them again.
