I recommend everybody to get winter tyres, even if there isn't snow, the level of grip between these and all year or summer tyres when the temperature drops below about 12 degrees C is far far better. For the price of these you can't go wrong. I have used other (more expensive) brands of winter (snow) tyres, dunlop and goodyear and others, but these have performed the best and they are half the price. I have mine on the car from the end of October until (usually) the end of May, as at the times I drive, early morning and late evening, the temperature is still usually only 15 Degrees C or lower.
