Exceptional performance, all year round

Excellent year-round performance. Enjoy performance all year round with a tyre that copes with different types of weather. Goodyear’s Weather Reactive Technology helps the Vector 4Seasons adapt to seasonal changes. The unique SmartTRED design features specific tread zones that adjust to road conditions.

Good handling on wet and dry. Designed for high performance driving, the UltraGrip Performance 2 maintains optimal stiffness to give you confident wet and dry handling. The centre line provides continuous contact with the road surface, leading to more precise steering in dry conditions.

Environmentally friendly. Go further on less fuel with a tyre that rolls more easily. The Vector 4Seasons also gives you more mileage, thanks to its all-weather compound and a flatter contour that spreads pressure evenly.

Traction for all road conditions. Keep your grip with an all-weather compound that performs in summer and winter temperatures. Featuring high-density 3D waffle blades, the Vector 4Seasons offers better ice and snow traction than its competitors.*The tyre is certified with the snowflake symbol, which means it meets the official standards of dedicated winter tyres.

Better control on wet and dry roads. Stay in control in rain or snow. The Vector 4Seasons offers better aquaplaning resistance on wet roads and 11% shorter braking distances on ice.*Dry handling is reliable, with stiff tread blocks that give you extra stability when steering and cornering.

EU Tyre Label and Efficiency Classes

The European Union has introduced the EU Tyre Label by Regulation (No. 1222/2009) identically and bindingly for all EU member states. It applies to passenger car tyres, light commercial vehicle tyres and heavy commercial vehicle tyres produced after 01.07.2012.

Three different areas are tested: rolling resistance, wet grip and the rolling noise the tyre makes on the road.

The following are not affected by the EU Tyre Label: retreaded tyres, professional off-road tyres, racing tyres, tyres with additional devices to improve traction such as spiked tyres, T-type emergency tyres, special tyres for fitting to vehicles first registered before 1 October 1990, tyres with a maximum authorised speed of 80 km/h, tyres for rims with a nominal diameter of 254 mm or less or 635 mm or more.

With this regulation, the European Union is pursuing the goal of promoting economic and ecological efficiency in road traffic as well as increasing road safety on the one hand, and on the other hand, granting consumers more product transparency and at the same time serving as an active decision-making aid.

Already during the incorporation, experts criticise the fact that the EU Tyre Label unfortunately only shows a few product characteristics. Apart from rolling resistance, wet grip and rolling noise, which are the main focus of EU tyre labelling, tyres have much more important and safety-relevant product characteristics, such as aquaplaning properties, driving stability, service life, braking properties on dry and wet roads, behaviour in wintry conditions, etc.

Tyre manufacturers point out that test results from various institutions and journals remain an important information medium for the end consumer. These tests usually focus on further safety-relevant product characteristics besides the EU standard qualifications for tyre labelling, which are always important for the final customer.

The first thing I do when I purchase a new vehicle is buy a new set of all-weather tyres...and the Goodyear Vectors are just the best for my car

11.10.2018 from T Braithwaite
These tyres being all weather tyres seemed a very good idea to purchase with all the bad weather we had been having, unfortunately we have found that not to be the case. We have had the car from 10,000 miles it now reads 116,000 miles without any punctures at all with summer tyres, the last 7000 miles and especially the last 6 months of having these tyres on the car we have suffered with 2 punctures both of which were irreparable resulting in having to buy two new tyres. We feel the rubber is too soft and easily fractured resulting in punctures.
