The two central grooves of the NS-2, along with the V-shaped tread of the tyre, improve the drainage of water on the tyre surface and hence reduce the risk aquaplaning.
When dry, the V-shaped tread ribs ensure a uniform pressure distribution so that the entire contact surface of the tyre can be used for power transmission.
Computer simulated V-shaped drainage sub-grooves increase resistance to hydroplaning at high speed running through deep water.
Two-in-one pitches and variable width tread profile help to reduce pattern noise and provide a quieter comfort.
Shoulder edge sipes ensure even and prolonged tread wear.
EU Tyre Label and Efficiency Classes
The European Union, under CE 1222/2009, has mandated that all tyres manufactured after the date of July 1 2012 for cars and commercial vehicles include standard EU Tyre Labels classifying them by three performance characteristics:fuel efficiency classified from A to G,wet grip classified from A to G, and noise emission in decibels.
Categories of tyres unaffected by this regulation include: retreaded tyres, professional off-road tyres, racing/sports car tyres, as well as certain types of tyres designed to improve traction such as studded tyres, T-type temporary spare tyres, tyres for cars built before 1990, tyres with a maximum allowed speed of 80km/h, tyres for rims with a diameter less or equal to 254 mm or greater or equal to 635 mm. This label is intended on one hand to promote economic and ecological efficiency in traffic, as well as increase road safety, and on the other hand to help consumers select appropriate tyres by ensuring a certain degree of product transparency.
Nevertheless, the label has been criticized for only showing a very limited number of characteristics. Professionals argue that tyres have many more features that are important and relevant to road safety, including but not limited to aquaplaning properties, driving stability, service life, product properties on wet and dry roads other than wet grip, properties on snow. Tyre manufacturers suggest that the test results from various institutions and industry magazines should remain a very important source of information for the end consumer, because they focus on and rate a wide variety of tyre properties and features.

09.11.2019 from William Gilbey To be honest I only drove on the tyres for roughly 2 month as I got rid of the car, but my new car is nearly due for a new set so I’ll definitely and always will buy these tyres, had 2 sets of them now and they’ve all been spot on especially for the price of them
28.09.2019 from Nicholas Bartlett Great grip for a heavy transporter , tyres were recommended by another transporter owner.
25.09.2019 from Martin They seem ok for what I would call a budget - midrange. In my experience the T1R although softer wall felt a lot better. The S3 is quattro with a ok suspension setup , 4 pot brakes and some 8.75J wide XXR wheels and the NS2s are put though some aggressive driving and launching with all four spinning and even at that you have to really give it some in the dry - Car is only pushing 282bhp without the meth running and its 4wd so power loss everywhere perfectly ok for day to day driving- If I saw some track days i would consider the NS2R
07.07.2019 from Andrew Trice The Tires are very good for the money good grip wet and dry road conditions..however I purchased tires RIM protectors but wht you supplied did not protecct my wheels which cost £ 778.00 each... because the wheel rim sits nearly half a centemeter inside of the wheel rim... it did not protect them from curb rash and has ruined my wheels which are diamond cut Audi Rotors 8J 18"...i tried to contact you several times your customer services system is rubbish..seems you only want to sell and supply what you think anf not what I actually ordered...and not to deal with problems you created..now it will cost £500 to refurbish and diamonf cut all four wheels because of your incompetance who will pay for this costly mistake? The garage who they were sent to can prove this and I can send photos and a report!! bEware when ordering you dont always get what you paif for!!!
