The tread pattern with four circumferential tread grooves provides efficient drainage to prevent aquaplaning or slipping on wet surfaces. The tyre's large number of shoulder blocks and sipes provide improved grip and traction on snowy roads, and increase cornering stability. The variable pitch in the shoulder section ensures low rolling noise. Optimum km performance increases fuel economy. Reduced rolling resistance reduces fuel consumption.

My style of driving consist of response driving to towing a caravan and leisure driving so I do quite a wide variety. I use winter tyres all year round they are better on wet surfaces don't last as long but give you more confidence in cornering, braking and when you encounter deep puddles. Has we do in the country with all the pot holes my wife used them all year to. In winter i do carry snow chains but have not used them.
