Benefits

Reinforced Construction Technology
Durability and precision steering Goodyear's new Reinforced Construction Technology results in a tyre that's lighter and stronger. This means you'll benefit from better fuel efficiency, improved tread wear and smoother handling around corners.

Grip Booster Technology
Enhanced grip The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyre features the new Grip Booster compound, which is made with a sticky, adhesive resin to increase your vehicle's grip on road surfaces. This design provides the best braking and handling experience, so you can feel confident in any road conditions.

ActiveBraking Technology
Shorter braking distance Active Braking Technology makes your tyre react when you brake, automatically increasing the surface area in contact with the road to improve the grip. The benefit? A shorter braking distance on both wet and dry surfaces, for improved safety and comfort on the road.

TÜV test winner for braking on wet and dry roads*

Next generation technologies deliver outstanding performances both on dry and wet roads.

Shorter braking distance on wet +amp, dry roads
Thanks to increased tire contact with the road.

Better grip for braking and handling
Adhesive resin increases stickiness with the surface.

Steering precision and durability
Thanks to a stronger lightweight construction.

The New Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has been tested by independent organization TÜV and verified strong performance compared to other premium brand tires in the market.

EU Tyre Label and Efficiency Classes

The European Union has introduced the EU Tyre Label by Regulation (No. 1222/2009) identically and bindingly for all EU member states. It applies to passenger car tyres, light commercial vehicle tyres and heavy commercial vehicle tyres produced after 01.07.2012.

Three different areas are tested: rolling resistance, wet grip and the rolling noise the tyre makes on the road.

The following are not affected by the EU Tyre Label: retreaded tyres, professional off-road tyres, racing tyres, tyres with additional devices to improve traction such as spiked tyres, T-type emergency tyres, special tyres for fitting to vehicles first registered before 1 October 1990, tyres with a maximum authorised speed of 80 km/h, tyres for rims with a nominal diameter of 254 mm or less or 635 mm or more.

With this regulation, the European Union is pursuing the goal of promoting economic and ecological efficiency in road traffic as well as increasing road safety on the one hand, and on the other hand, granting consumers more product transparency and at the same time serving as an active decision-making aid.

Already during the incorporation, experts criticise the fact that the EU Tyre Label unfortunately only shows a few product characteristics. Apart from rolling resistance, wet grip and rolling noise, which are the main focus of EU tyre labelling, tyres have much more important and safety-relevant product characteristics, such as aquaplaning properties, driving stability, service life, braking properties on dry and wet roads, behaviour in wintry conditions, etc.

Tyre manufacturers point out that test results from various institutions and journals remain an important information medium for the end consumer. These tests usually focus on further safety-relevant product characteristics besides the EU standard qualifications for tyre labelling, which are always important for the final customer.

I drive fast and furious when required or slow and deliberate in slow traffic! I used these tyres on my 5 series BMW 525iSE and were superb! Now on Mrs Peugeot 308 hdi and pretty good!

Tyres are fine apart from one problem, the rears on a motorway are just really noisy at speed when they get down to around 4mm of tread, so much so that I thought it was a wheel bearing issue, and checked them out, they appeared to be OK, when I fitted new rear tyres the noise disappeared

Great tyre so no complaints

Incredible tyres. Was hard to find them in the UK but worth every penny. Noise level drastically reduced despite having another top brand previously. Good grip on all types of road. Easily takes on a bit of dynamic driving. Very impressed.
